does urlCrossScriptingFilter allow special characters
<%=tools.getLocalizedTextForString(".pyInstructions",com.pega.pegarules.pub.util.StringUtils.urlCrossScriptingFilter(tools.findPage("newAssignPage").getString("pyInstructions")))%>
If my pyInstructions has special character like ( somedata )then it is displaying as %28 somedata %29
rather than ( somedata ).
Is there any limitation for urlCrossScriptingFilter . Should I use some other function?
