System Architect Essentials 8.1 issue importing the service provider list in exercise configuring reference data
Hi,
Upon importing the provided service provider .csv file, Pega only recognizes one field to be present in the header allthough they are all there. Seems Pega is not correctly parsing the csv header for the mapping of the fields for some reason?
This happens to me on the Data Type page, Records Tab then clicking the import button. Then selecting the file to be uploaded. The consequent mapping screen shows just One sourcefield (CSV) it being the full header line of the csv file.
Any ideas, hints or tips appreciated.
Regards,
Leo

Just for your information, replacing the Comma separator with Semicolon solves this problem...

The source field does not allow replacing the comma because it is not editable.

Hi,
with semicolons in the CSV, I still get the same error as Leo, see attachment
Please advise. I would expect the seperator to be configurable..
Pega 8.1.3, training system.

Just like said @LDEBLAAUW, replace "," by ";". The thing is, depending with what you're going to make the changes and save (Excel, notepad, notepad++ etc...), the results will not be exactly the same.
I first made changes using Excel (it was opening Excel by default), but it wasn't working.I downloaded again the CSV --> Right click--> Open with --> notepad++. Made the changes and then it works just fine.

Replacing the "," with ";" didn't work in Excel but did work for me with Notepad++. Thanks for the help!
