Web Adapter issue
Hi All, Need help with Web adapter scenario
Issue with web Adapter.
When user clicks on new tab button in IE, Internet explorer throws error "Internet Explorer stopped working".
As per the post here, people have faced this while interrogating and setting stop method does solve issue. This was the case for me as well. Earlier I was getting problem that when Adapter stops I was getting this error. after changing stop method it worked. It was working even for new tab too before. Now its not working for new tab button click. IE throws this error and on click of ok button adapter closes.
Please help. Thanks.

If this wasn't happening originally, then it suggests the environment has changed and some interaction with IE is causing the issue.
What has changed on these machines? New antivirus or security software? I have seen the Digital Guardian software have this kind of effect before.
To get some ideas, you can use Process Explorer to check what dlls are hooked into the IE process. This will give you a list of software interacting with IE. Then work down the list...
