Property qualifier in Pega

Does anyone know how Pega use differently between pyDecimalPrecision vs. pyColumnPrecision?

As long as this is API to developer, should have a clean document how to use it.

pyColumnPrecision - Specifies the precision to use when a database column is generated from a property.Certain processes used to generate a database column from a property will use the value of this qualifier of the property as the precision for the database column.  This applies only to Integer, Decimal, and Double properties.
