Need to open GCs before opening up any automation
Hi,
Recently I was working in a RDA project at client site. There were about 160 automations, 3 Projects. 2of them were Robotics projects(one GC on each) and other a C#. When ever I wanted to open-up an automation that uses an item from the GCs, I had to open the GC first and the n open the automation. Otherwise the components appear in red color and the automation appears as modified.
If I try to open an automation that uses any UI control, I had to open the UI form first.Otherwise again the controls in the automation shown in red color.
this is quite annoying that I had to open GCs and all the UIs first before starting working on any automation.What should be done to avoid this?

You must have something in the Global Containers on on your Windows Form that requires being compiled first. Are you using any custom components? If so, you might move those to a new GC to minimize the annoyance. This issue is not happening on any of the projects I am using, so it must be something specific to yours. If you cannot determine what component is the culprit, you should open a ticket with support, so someone can look at your projects directly. If you do open a ticket, please post the ticket number here for reference.
