Changing Summarize Default Options for Reports (pzSummarizeConfigSection)

Business users have requested a simple UI change. When they click the "Summarize" button on a Pega 7report, they'd like all of the Summarize column dropdown boxes to default to "Do not show" instead of "Group by."

I've tracked this down to section Rule-Obj-Report-Definition.pzSummarizeConfigSection.

This seems extremely simple, except one problem. The rule is final. Does anyone have ideas on how to achieve this? Thanks!

Hello,

Yes this rule is FINAL and also called by FINAL rules. So it will not be very simple to customize like that. Have you tried to investigate the function called inside said SECTION maybe.
