Passing parameters to Report Definition(not working)
Hi Team,
I have embedded two sections in a harness. One of the section has a button and on clicking the same,I invoke a DT which sets couple of Param. The second event configured on the click of button is to refresh the other section. The other section is a repeating grid whose source is an Report Definition. With the DT I am setting the filter criterion for RD, but it seems the setting the params DT is not working and repeating grid is not having any rows.

Hi Team,
I found something very strange ,in one of the filters criterion in the RD ,I am giving a calculation builder as Left Trim of Param.firstParam. But then I expected that when i don't pass any value to this parameter it will be ignored. But the prepared SQL string in clipboard shows that this condition is included in the query.I removed the calculation builder and it seems to be omitting the condition.Any idea why this behaviour

In your Cell Properties > List Source > Report Definition change value to some other ReportDefinition let's say "DataTableReportEditor" ( no need to submit its just let that portion to refresh) and again set it back to your business Report Definition to which you were passing parameter earlier.
Thats it !!! It will work...
