need to calculate the total time spent on the steps.
Hi ,I have a requirement where I need to calculate the total time spent on the steps.
I don't want to use Audit table because of performance issue.
Is there a way to get the current Step name in pyWorkpage always .

Would PXTASKELAPSEDTIME in the history(to calculate the time that a task was worked on) table help at your end?

- What does steps means here- is it assignment or any utility you are running you need to track time?
- Is it for One specific step you need to measure or for all steps in your application?
For any stage you can get the information using pyWorkPage.pxStageHistory where you will have two property

Difference between this two time can give a matrix. You can go bit down to pyWorkPage.pxStageHistory(n).pxProcesses(n) and check time property used there
