Query Max time limit

Hi All,

In our application in preprod env we are getting an error like "Processing was cancelled due to an interrupt.. SQL Code = 952, SQL State = 57014"

This error is coming for a particular condition. The same functionality works fine for different user and different condition. Please note its coming for a report definition generated query.

I googled the error and it appears someone fixed this issue by setting CommandTimeout in the application. Please let me know if in pega we have any such option to do the same or this needs to be set up from DB side

Hi Sudip,

Query timeout is a good thing to have and should be configured correctly.
If a long running query has been configured to timeout with large value then few instance of long running query can bring you application server to often hang.
