To configuring report on weekely basis
Hello,
I have a requirement to send a particular report on weekely basis,i am not able to find any such option or any resource,kindly can anyone help me on how to schedule a report on weekely basis and send it as an attachment through mail.

Hello,
Thanks guys for suggesting some solution,i tried to implement the same but thing is that i scheduled a report but i did not received the attachment through mail,I check the scheduled status it shows success and still report attachments not received and i also checked the scheduleReportShorcut in backend(Tomcat/catalina/localhost/prweb/LLC/ScheduleShortcuts) but there are no files generated as well.
Is there any other solution instead of scheduling from browser.

Thanks for the reply,actually i have already gone through this video and tried to configure the same thing but this didn't worked out,Can u just tell me how to achieve same by using Agent & Activities.If u can share some steps for same will be great help.

Hi Aakash,
What you describe is a standard scheduled report, and should be doable through the OOTB scheduling tool in the report browser. If it is not working for you, then there is a either a problem with the configuration or a bug in our scheduling code. There are a number of potential points of failure. I don't think the solution here is to implement your own report scheduling, but to figure out what is wrong with the OOTB scheduling. If you are unable to find any problem with your configuration, then I believe an SR is the next step.

You can try to troubleshoot with the suggestion given by my colleague below, if you still can't get the solution then you can try to write an activity and call it from an agent.
I tried a sample use case to generate the csv file from the report definition data as explained in attachment.
Hope this might help you to proceed further in alternate approach.
