Unable to view images on generated PDF on click of button
Requirement is as below:
We have a section containing Rich Text Editor(to upload images). There is a preview option in Other Actions dropdown from where we do a preview of the WO details. In this preview all the details including the text and images (added in Rich Text Editor Field) are displayed in read only. In this Preview Section there is a button (Download as PDF) to download the details as a PDF generated file.
Currently we have implemented Open URL in Window action on click of this button and calling a activity here. In this activity, we have set the params accordingly and called OOTB activity 'pyViewAsPDF'. When we clicl on button, it is working fine for all the text added in the WO but the images added in Rich Text Editor are not getting displayed(only blank space is there for images) in generated PDF.
Please suggest any changes to be done or any new approach for this. Please refer the attachment.

Did you get a chance to look at the stream created while converting to the PDF in the tracer. Try to run html in the browser. See th DOM generated? is the Src of the image properly defined.

HI,
I tried to check the DOM of the generated PDF after opening it in the browser. There are no image sources getting captured.
Also I noticed that whatever text which i am entering after the image(in the next line) in the Rich Text Editor field, that is getting captured in the generated PDF. But the text entered before the image is not getting captured in the generated PDF. I suspect the issue is with Rich Text Editor field.

Capture the use-case and share tracer file with "Stream Rule" settings checked in tracer settings for further investigation.

I assume the rich-text-editor only comes into play if your section is being displayed in an editable mode.
If you display your section in a read-only mode, and generate your pdf from there, so that there is no rich-text-editor, do you still have the issue? This test should clarify whether the issue has anything to do with the rich-text-editor.
