Facing pegaGuiInstallerTemp\build.xml:277: exec returned: 1 error while installing pega

Hi All,

While installing pega i m facing below error-

BUILD FAILED
G:\114823_PE718-64\pegaGuiInstallerTemp\build.xml:277: exec returned: 1
Total time: 20 minutes 1 second
org.tp23.antinstaller.InstallException: Use logs to find the cause, then correct and run again
at org.tp23.antinstaller.runtime.exe.AntLauncherFilter.exec(AntLauncherFilter.java:89)

at org.tp23.antinstaller.selfextract.SelfExtractor.main(SelfExtractor.java:398)

My System configurations-

Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit OS, 4GB RAM.

My Environmental variables in System variables-

JAVA_HOME-- C:\apache-ant-1.10.1-bin (I have downloaded and pasted the ant folder in the path C:\apache-ant-1.10.1-bin )

PATH-- C:\Windows\system32\cscript.exe; (I made cmd as run as administrator)

Please find the log file attached.

I have cleared temp and removed anti-virus and installed again. I have my software zip file in G drive and I am extracting the same in G drive.

Still I am getting the above error.

Please also mention if my environmental variables setting is correct.

Kindly help.

Hi,

I do believe it should be set to "C:/Windows/system32" and not "c:\Windows\system32\cscript.exe"

Also run as admin user after correcting the path issue.

Hi,

Error seems to be due to "'cscript' is not recognized as an internal or external command"

Although you have disabled antivirus, I would recommend the check suggestion in below discussion
