How to Integrate External Web Application with Pega
Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to integrate external web application into my Pega Application.Below are the steps I need to perform -
1.Open the external web application as a pop up from the text input.
2.Read the values from the pop up.
3.Auto populate those values into a section.

Please try Pega Mashup. It allows you to embed an application as a gadget in your external application.

Pega Mashup allows you to integrate your pega application as an gadget with external application.But requirement is to integrate external application inside Pega.

Hi Amit,
Why can't you make use of Connectors in PRPC. If you can expose your external application as a service(REST,SOAP etc) , you can create connector at PRPC end to make use in section.

Hi Gangababu,
Sorry for late reply.I cant use external application as a service since it is complicated address drill down app and recommendation from app owner is to use their war approach.Please let me know if i can use any OOTB approach or java script to open external application on click and fill back section when popup is closed.
