Group by in Report definition not allowing more than one column
Hi All,
I have a requirement to filter the results retrieved by report definition to get top ranked 1 row based on 3 columns.
Unfortunately in report definition for group by there is only one column is allowed.
I have attached the screen shot for reference.Please verify and provide your inputs and solution if any.
Note: We are using Pega version 7.2.2

Hi Giribabu,
Your requirement is not clear. But if you want to use more than 1 property then you need create a function or use existing function as per your requirement and call that function from calculation builder

Hello,
This is an expected behaviour.
For list reports, you can limit the number and type of rows of data the report returns to those with the highest or lowest values based on just one property. We cannot add more than one property / column here.

The query looks like below.
SELECT [Col1]
,[Col2]
,[Col3]
,max([Col4]) (date),Col5,Col6,Col7...
FROM [PEGA_DATA].[TestTable] GROUP By Col1,Col2,Col3

Were you able to get a solution for this? I have got the exact requirement. My SQL Query will be something like this.
SELECT Col1, Col2, Max(Col3)(date) FROM Table [PEGA_DATA].[TestTable] GROUP By col1,col2
