Unable to connect external source location from File listener source location

Hi All,

I have a requirement to read a file from external Source location (IP address\Pega\filelocation) .

I have used File listener to copy the file and read information. Its working fine for server source location folders but its not connecting to external location. i have granted access permission for that source location and i am able to ping source location from commander prompt. from pega application i am unable to connect it.

Could you please provide any suggest here to resolve this issue.

In windows if you right click on the folder then you will get option 'Properties'. Under properties window you will see option to set security. There is an edit button to add user permission. Pls add pega app user name with full permission and try again.
