Caching activity rule output

Is there any way to cache output of an activity based on parameter values without using data page.

Lets suppose, my activity is having several DB calls etc.

If input to the activity is same for several calls, the output will be same. But for rest of the calls(except first call), i dont want DB calls to be executed each time for same input but want cached result to be returned which was returned for first call.

This was possible in one of technology i was working on earlier, so just curious if its possible in Pega.
