changing fixed to composite portal
We are upgrading to 7.2 from 6.1 , therefore have to change fixed into composite portals but the issue is everything is opening in the popup not in workarea.
We have to show harness/html in right pane from the link in left pane
I noticed that u also faced some issue related to this.
Any help will be appreciated

Did you upgraded your work area to Dynamic Container?. This is a mandatory step.

Thanks Dhevendra, harness is opening in work area
Now we are calling the harness in "new doc" and it is opening in work area but the data is not populated.
If we call that harness as popup or replace current options we can also provide the page name having values that needs to be populated on the harness,
but with New doc we are not able to prepopulate the harness.

How are you opening the harness? If you are using the link control then you can have define multiple actions. First run an activity to populate the data then show the harness.

we are opening the harness on click event of the button,
1. we are running the activity to populate Page
2 We selected harness action with "new document" option but there we are unable to pass the page we created in step 1
if we call the harness in popup then we can pass the page and we are able to see the data also but for new doc we are unable to
