What all configurations required to set up remote SMA on JBOSS 6.1 EAP

Hi All,

We are working to configure remote SMA where our application is hosted on JBOSS 6.1 EAP. Also we are not using Jconsole to be more specific.

We have configured service URL in SMA with specifying management native port. Apart from this, made authenticate=false under JVM arguments.This gives below error on SMA on selecting remote node:

com.pega.jmx.ui.util.JMXClientException: Exception getting MBean Server connection. Cannot connect to the server with specified settings
Authentication failed: the server presented no authentication mechanisms

What all other configurations to be done to successfully connect to remote SMA.

Hi Basavaraj,

This talks about jboss-client.jar packaging under war file. Apart from this, do we need to update any JVM arguments.

I understand that in tomcat we add environment variables to CATALINA_OPTS, but what should it be incase of JBOSS.

I do not think we need to update any other files or JVM arguments for JBOSS.
