The class ABC-OPS-HRA-Work is not configured to support locking.

Getting this error when doing obj-open-by-handle " The class ABC-OPS-HRA-Work is not configured to support locking".
Can any please tell me when this issue comes and how to solve this.

Could you make sure that your class supports locking (Configured in locking tab).

Also can you let us know how this class was created ? Usually the cases created through Case designer should already have this configured properly.

Thanks for reply.

This class was created in version 5. Now project upgraded to 7.1.9. In Class for me there is no Locking tab.

Hi Srinivas,

The scenario explained over here looks similar to your scenario could you try this suggestion and let me know.

Two user can access the same work object simultaneously. From tracer, I found the class "MyCustomClass" is not configured to support locking. After I "Validate and Save" the particular class instance, it starts working.
