No Script engine for the file extension ".js"
hi all, I am trying to install PRPC personal edition on my computer and during installation, I am facing an error like
PRPC Launching:
[echo]Starting tomcat ......
[exec]Input Error: There is no script engine for the file extension ".js"

Input Error: There is no script engine for file extension ".js" -> says Javascript .js not associated with Windows Scripting Host. To check the current association you open the command prompt and run the command "assoc .js".
If it gives ".js=JSFile" output then your .js file is associated with the Windows scripting host, else you can see to which app the .js file associated and you can de-associate it from that app and point to Windows scripting host.
You can google it how to associate .js to Windows scripting host based on your operating system or you can look in here.
