Question

Unable to create Onboarding case in exercise of SAE 7.2
I am unable to create the Onboarding case type in the exercise of SAE 7.2. As I am giving the name in the case name value field, it is showing an error. Attached is a screenshot of the same.

Please check the application rule. You might be having a certain stale class rule which once existed when you added that rule to the case&data tab of the application but then you have removed that case type. This change didn't reflect on the class rule. So during a new casetype addition to the Application rule, it validated the existing class rules / case type and giving out an exception saying invalid class name.
Find the stale class rule and remove the rule. Resave the application rule once and then try to add the new case type to the applicaiton.
Let us know if it helps.

Hi Sukanya,
It would be better if you share the log file and tracer file of your use case inorder to proceed further in finding the root cause of the issue at backend.

Mahesh

Hi Mahesh,
Attached is the tracer file and I am unable to download the log file because of an error for which the screenshot has been attached.

Try clearing the cache and restart the server.

Hi Sukanya,
Please check if your operator's access group is mapped to Applicationname:Administrators as below?
1)open your operator
2)check if it is mapped to yourapplicationname:administrators
3)logoff and relogin
I think this should work, as i faced the similar error earlier.

Hi Haritha_D,
I tried this and my operator is mapped to HRAppsSAE:Administrators and I did re-login . But it did not work for me.

Hi Sukanya,
Can you map it to HRApps:Administrators and check ?
(Make sure you select from the autocomplete and relogin again )
Hope it works .
