How to populate Distinct Drop down values in repeating Grid column
In a repeating grid, for a column I have given Drop down values, Once a drop down value is selected in the first row, the same value should not be available in the second row drop down values.

So if i understand your query propery here is something you want.
1. Load a grid with lets say a drop down called country
2. User can edit or add new rows in the grid
3. First row they select INDIA
4. Second row, when they see the option, INDIA should not appear
This is difficult to achieve as your dropdown source activity or list needs to be modified for every row addition.
Instead you can try putting some validation which will restrict user to enter same element in two rows !

As per my understanding , you will be calling the same dropdown property in all the rows of a repeat grid and the selected value in first row should not appear in the next row and it goes on.Correct me if I am wrong
This may lead to performance issue, since for every row dropdown property needs to be iterated and the selected value has to be skipped.I suppose we can achieve this by calling a activity but not sure.
please share below information for more clarity
1) Pega Version
2) How you are sourcing the dropdown
3) What If the numbers of rows in the repeat grid are greater than the values in the dropdown ?

Hi Srikanth,
1) List of Values selected should be in a comma seperated Parameter .i.e , each time a value is selected , append the selected value to this Parameter.
Ex: Param.SelectedValuesList="Value1","Value2"
2) Dropdown can be sourced from a Report Definition.
In the Report Definition, the below filter should be configured.
PropertyName "Not Equals" Param.SelectedValuesList
Please let me know if it works.
