Will there be CSSA Certification exam on Pega 7.2 soon?
Hi all,
I want to start preparing for SSA certification, but I prefer to do it on the most recent version - Pega 7.2. The most recent certification course and exams are for 7.1 and I wonder whether a version for 7.2 will be available soon?

After you earn certification, the certification currently does not expire and will still be considered valid.
The April 30th exam retirement date means that the CSSA 7.1 exam will not be available to take after that date.

May I know why there is a huge shrinkage of topics in 7.2 when compared to 7.1? Like "Automating Business Policies" and "Integrations" topics are not even available in 7.2, which are some separate chapters in 7.1. Please clarify. Thanks.

At this point, we estimate that the CSSA 7.3 exam will be available around mid-late 2018. After the CSSA 7.3 exam becomes available, the CSSA 7.2 exam will continue to be available for at least 90 days. Exam retirement notifications are posted on our Pearson VUE page at http://pearsonvue.com/pegasystems, as well as in Pega Academy. The Certification FAQ page also contains exam retirement information at: https://academy.pega.com/help/certification-faqs.
Currently, Pega certifications do not expire (subject to change, however, at Pega's discretion.) If you are preparing for the CSSA 7.2 exam, we recommend that you continue on the path to take the 7.2 exam.

We are in the process of finalizing the exam retirement date for the CSSA 7.2 exam. Please note that we provide at least 90 days’ notice prior to an exam retirement date – this means that the exam will be available until at least November 30, 2018 – if not longer. When the retirement date is finalized, there will be an announcement on our Pearson VUE page at http://pearsonvue.com/pegasystems.
