Exercise system is out-of-date
Hi all,
I’m following “PEGA DECISION MANAGEMENT ADVANCED (7.1) “ course.
The course also provides an exercise environment (Marketing_712_VM_20160223.zip).
However, it seems to me that the exercise environment and actual contents of the course are very different.
Specifically the exercise environment seems to me to be too old for the contents of the course itself.
For example,
"DECISION MANAGER PORTAL CONFIGURATION’ lesson explains a number of access groups, however, I can’t find any of them in the exercise environment.
Missing access groups:
- DecisionManager:RevisionManager
- DecisionManager:StrategyDesigner
- DecisionManager:DecisionArchitect
- DecisionManager:Supervisor
- DecisionManager:Administrator
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the question. The acccess groups are actually created as the result of the Application Overlay wizard.
What DSM ships with is a set of 5 roles (corresponding to each access group). But you are correct we do NOT ship default access groups. Just run the wizard, as suggested in the exercise and you will see them created for you.
