How to trace a java step in an Activity?
How to trace a java step in an Activity? I can use log message but if my java step has 100 steps and I want to check the execution of every step, can I do that?

I often debug long java steps by inserting sendDebugMessageToTracer like this:
pega_rules_utilities.sendDebugMessageToTracer("The value of .myCount is " + .myCount,"Pega-ProCom");
The first param is whatever string you want to display, and the second parameter is any ruleset that is enabled in your tracer settings.
In order to see these messages in the tracer, add tracer event type "Debug", and make sure you enable it.
