How to roll log file based on size and date in 6.3?
Hi Friends,
We had a requirement in our application, we need to roll log files based on both size and date in 6.3. Does any one had done the same ?

I had already checked that one, "com.pega.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender" class does not have maxfilesize attribute so if we use this one we can not we cannot use max file size. We had another class "com.pega.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender" this had maxfilesize attribute but does not have datepattern attribute. This is possible in pega 7 as they had new class "DailySizeRollingFileAppenderPega".

The feature to roll over log files based on both size and date is available only from Pega 7 called DailySizeRollingFileAppender. Please see the details here - https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v719/procomhelpmain.htm
