Displaying time in User's timezone
Hi,
We need to display the CPM Interaction time in the CCP’s time zone, and we have CCPs across the globe, and our project does not use the Operator ID Locate, so that rules out the possibility of specifying the Locale on Operator ID Rule form.
Is there a way to be able to get the CCP browser’s / work stations time zone and display the time accordingly.
FYI: If we don’t specify the time zone in Opertors ID , then its falling back the App Server time and displaying the App Server time zone.

Well i used en_US in place of pyTimeZone and it worked.
Thanks for the reply Ron, This project uses the Model Operators for various user roles, and combining that with the user's locale will result in numerous model operators and the associated overhead in the LDAP directory.

I would look into writing some JavaScript which will get the local time on the client and finding the offset from that time to the Server time. I found this (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10659523/how-to-get-the-exact-local-time-of-client) which seems to provide lots of suggestions -- probably one of them will work well for you. You could create a function in userworkform which runs this function. It's not clear to me exactly how you want to use this, but perhaps I've given you enough to move forward.

pxRequestor.pxReqLocale is being set with user's locale if operator profile does not have locale setting mentioned.
There is another property pxReqTimeZone, but I do not see this being set on pxRequestor page on clipboard. Description of this property suggests this holds user's timezone. Not sure why this is not being set - is this a bug?
