Merge all images in several rulesets into a single UI Ruleset

Hi

We have a requirement to move all the images in several rulesets into a single UI ruleset.

We do have several hundreds of images and saving as each and every image would require humongous effort.

Do we have any utility or activity which would do the save as automatically and delete/withdraw image rules in other rulesets

Hi Avinash,

Unfortunately we dont have any such wizard or tool that can help you on this.

The closest I think is Copy or Merge ruleset which helps you copy RuleSets and RuleSet versions into new versions,merge several RuleSet versions into one version, move rules out of one RuleSet into another, or change a RuleSet version's number.

The Copy or Merge ruleset is just allows us to copy/merge at the ruleset level only but not at the rule level...

I'm thinking of writing an activity to open all the required Rule-File-Binary instances and update the pxMoveOriginalRuleSet, pyRuleSet, pyRuleSetVersion variables.

Any thoughts?
