Can we uninstall CSHC 7.1.4?
Hi,
As a part of our upgrade exercise, we installed CSHC 7.1.4 on top of PRPC 7.1.9.
Due to some reasons, we want to takeout the installed CSHC 7.1.4 and we want to install CSHC 7.1.3. Is it possible to do it? If yes, pls let us know the process.

Hi Ravi,
I don't think that you can uninstall CSHC 7.1.4.
Which CS release was installed on your system? CS v7.1.4?
Do you also want to uninstall it?
Before you installed CS 7.1.4 and CSHC 7.1.4, did you do a DB backup for PRPC 7.1.9?

Thanks Susan for the reply. We installed V7.1.4 as a part of our PRPC V7.1.9 environment setup initially. We had taken the backup of DB after installation is done and we are working on upgrade activities on top of it. We have a daily DB backup is also in place. We have another thought is like if we install V7.1.3 and restrict the OOTB app rules with this CS V7.1.3 accordingly. But, to restrict the app rules we need the pwd for making the changes on OOTB app rules. Is there a way we get the pwd from Pega to proceed on this?

Hi Ravi,
As I know that Pega will not provide pwd to customer to do so.
Why do you want to restrict the OOTB app rules?

Hi Susan,
After checking the environment, I think we don't need to touch the OOTB app rules for this change. Only thing is we need to change our FW specific app rule to point to right CS version.
