PEGA BIX to DBMS tables - anyone with experience

I am a receiver of the extract data from BIX, we are hoping to have the data pushed into DBMS tables, I have a couple of questions:

 

Has anyone here had experience with this, in terms of performance - any special consideration?

Also, has anyone got an idea of how many tables tend to be produced if you were following the standard policy data model?

maybe a little vague, but have struggled to find much on the subject of BIX and typical warehouse installations
