KAFKA Message listener in Pega

I also need an answer for this inquiry. Version we're going on is Proprietary information hidden -Details of my project are as follows;
Business requirement: As a Pega Marketing user, I would like to send a push notification to my customers, based on their geo-location.
Specification: Inhouse mobile application retrieves customer's geo-location at each login and this data is pushed to Kafka Queue.
Implementation: Listen Kafka Queue, and create an event based campaign on Pega Marketing.

I also need to integrate Kafka with PRPC. But what I do understood from Other thread that There is no built-in support for Apache Kafka in Pega 7. Only way to connect Kafka with pega will be connecting via Java Connector or need to import their JMS client libraries into Pega.
I believe if we raise a SR for that, Pegasystem can provide some hotfix to connect KAFKA with Pega.

I am not sure that is a correct understanding. Inherent support for Apache Kafka would be an enhancement to the product and would be added to a future release of the Pega platform. Please work with your account executive to push for this enhancement based on the criticality of this need in your application.
Right, and thus it would be, for now, a custom implementation that you would need to do yourself for your application (and possibly share in it in Pega Exchange?).
So I raised a SR (SR-B8456-Media Request Type) with Pegasystems for Connectivity of Pega.
So as expected the SR did not do any good . So lets hope we will have some method or Integration connector for KAFKA. in 7.2.2 onwards or later - Sooner the better, Fingers Crossed :)
