Representation of PRPC 6 Application Profiles in Pega 7
Hi,
Can anybody explain how to use Application Profiles from PRPC 6 in Pega 7?
They can be packaged in PRPC 6.3 and then imported to Pega 7.1.x successfully.
But what can they be represented in?

Hi D.,
Unfortunately the Application Profile Editor was deprecated in Pega 7. You can still generate an "Application Profile Document" however using the upgraded Specifications and Requirements captured in previous version of PRPC and Upgraded to Pega 7. Simply run the Application Document Wizard: Designer Studio>Application>Tools>Document (and use the Application Profile Document Template).

If you mean can you add the Class that represents the current Work Types in the previous version of your PRPC application as Case Types in the Case Explorer of Pega 7, then Yes, absolutely! Simply open the Application Record (Rule Instance) for your Upgraded Application in Pega 7.1 and using the "Cases and Data" tab simply add the "Implementation Classes" for each of your Work Types to the list of "Case Types".
