Thanks Sai for your prompt response, I tried the activity: WorkUnlock and able to release the lock held by same operator in different session, whereas I couldnt able to release the lock held by different operator. Is it possible to do that.

WorkLock activity is used still to release locks held by the same operator not the different operator but even under a different requestor.

Try using activity "ReleaseLock" of System-Locks class. Run this activity by passing the pzInsKey of the workitem which you want to unlock.

Try using the activity 'WorkUnlock ' or 'WorkUnlock'. If these does not work you can execute delete SQL query on PR_SYS_LOCKS passing pxlockhandle(not recommended).
