Exercise in Adding a New Control on an Existing Field

In the first exercise of this lesson (Adding a New Cotnrol on an Existing Field) under Formatting Data Elements, I cannot continue with step 9. This step asks to select layout from layout menu. When I click Layout, nothing happens. I tried many times in IE and Google Chrome and no new menu pops up that will allow me to select Dynamic Layout. Is there anything that I am doing wrong, or should be doing? Help is needed. Thanks. Isabel

to be clear, you must drag and drop the layout to the section.

When you click the Layout widgets menu, click on the Layout widget, but do not release your mouse. Drag the Layout widget onto the section - doesn't matter where - then release the mouse. Then you will see the modal dialog to select the Dynamic Layout option.
