Cannot retrieve System Info from SMA on the VM - Page cannot be displayed error
Hello,
I am taking the online Sys Admin class and I have configured SMA per the exercise and when I attempt to download the system Info I will see the link appear at the bottom of the page but when I click on it I get the following error:
This page can't be displayed
Make sure the web address http://prpc:8080 is correct
Look for the page with your search engine
Refresh the page in a few minutes.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1 and IE 11.0.9600.17691
Please advise.

This is probably just a naming resolution issue. The easiest thing I can thing to do is:
in the Connection Information for PRPC Primary URL, try using the IP address of your VM instead of prpc:8080
do the same thing for PRPC Diagnostic URL

The more tedious thing to do would be to change the hostname in the config files of the vm, but just substituting the IP address for the hostname is a lot easier, eh?
As you work through the rest of the exercises, anytime you are directed to use prpc:8080 ignore those instructions and use the IP address straight away. Typically, that IP address will stay the same even after your shutdown the vm and start it up again.
