Search portal
Hi,
I have to implement one search portal. In that I need to display a UI on click of (search) in navigation.
There we need to enter text in fields for search crieteria and onclick of submit button results should be displayed below.
Can Anyone suggest the approach?
What I ahve done:
1. on click of Navigation, displaying one harness in work area which consists of sections to display fields and results.
2. After entering info, click on submit button which calls one activity, get results through RD and displaying GRID layout.
Issue: Whre the entered info wiil be stored in clip baord? Checked pyDisplayHarness page but entered values are not there.

Is there a way that clicking the item in navigation displays the section in work area other than launching the harness?

I had the same issue. The problem is due to the Search Criteria values not posted to Clipboard Before or on click of submit button
There are 2 approches:
1. We need to post the Search criteria value to Clipboard immediately on entering using Post Value Action using Change event on the Text Box before clicking the Submit Button. (No refresh of section is required in this Scenerio)
2. Refresh the whole section on Clicking the Submit button (button Click>Action - This should be the first action for the button) so that the values will be automatically posted to the Clipboard and you do the next action getting the Result from RD.
