Pega Robotic Automation security certificate will soon expire
On March 12, 2021, the certificate used to secure the communication between a Pega application (running in a browser) and the local Runtime REST service will expire.
This applies to you if you have attended Runtime users employing Robot Runtime with a Pega application running in a local browser and you installed our certificate to secure the communication.
The following Runtime versions are affected:
- 19.1: Less than 19.1.50
- 8.0 SP1: Less than 8.0 SP1 build 2063
- 8.0: Less than 8.0.1122
If you meet the above conditions, you should check the expiration date of your certificate. See Checking your certificate expiration date.
For more about certificate expiration dates, see Certificate expiration dates.
To upgrade your certificate, you can install a newer version of Robot Runtime, which includes a certificate that expires April 16, 2022. You can also manually update the certificate without impacting your Robot Runtime version.
For instructions on how to manually update your certificate, see Using a script to replace secure communication certificates.
