Cosmos is currently for Pega Platform, but are the strategic applications like CRM or PGP also "upgraded" to Cosmos?
Some apps have started to migrate to Cosmos using the 'Cosmos Rules' implementation including Sales Automation and PGP. Some apps will skip the upgrade to Cosmos Rules and move to Cosmos React directly. This is the case for Customer Service.
Do we have the same Cosmos interface for CRM?
Sales Automation supports Cosmos Rules in 8.5 - Customer Service will support Cosmos React next year
For Pega Marketing, is there a way we can see the Decision response in UI as a demo for Different channel like Web, Mobile etc.?
There is no short-term plan yet to support Pega Marketing Decision response through the DX API
Is Cosmos UI applicable only for Case Management UI in Pega platform or is it designed for Pega frameworks as well such as Customer Service UI and Sales Automation UI?
Right now, the focus is core case management functionality - Pega Apps is the next step. Most of the Pega Apps will migrate to this new architecture in the coming releases including Customer Service.
Does DX API support the CLM/KYC framework?
Not yet. 8.6 will add support for child cases. There is likely more work required to make the DX API fully support the functionality required for CLM / KYC
Is there any timeline that teams are targeting to uplift all three strategic apps to Cosmos UI?
We are planning to start with Customer Service first to work on the new React runtime architecture- Sales Automation is already using this architecture in hybrid mode for the list pages
Customer Service is definitely a critical app that we want to run on this new architecture in 2021. The plan is to move the Pega Apps to this new UI rendering architecture - this is going to be a gradual approach and not all apps might be upgraded
What about design system for CDH, is it going to be updated to new React component? In case yes, in which release is it planned?
CDH will also migrate to Cosmos – There is no date to share yet on this migration

Sales Automation supports Cosmos Rules in 8.5 – There are plans to also migrate SA to Cosmos React in 2021
What kind of effort do you think will be required to convert a Pega Customer Service application that was built using UI tool kit in Pega 7.x and that has been upgraded to Pega 8.x recently, to convert to Cosmos?
