List View - Using Categorize field.- Sorting not working for any column

Hi,

I am using List View and in the Organize tab i use categorize field values to make the List view appear like a tree structure. 

I have enabled sorting and disabled paging.

when i click on the column to sort, the List View is not getting sorted.

 

when i used the same  ListView without categorize field the sorting is working fine.

Can anyone help on this bizarre problem.

currently working on Pega V6.2

Sorting on categorized is not supported. categorized columns are sorted in ascending order by default in list views. The same is true for report definitions (report definitions allow you to sort in descending order / ascending order).
