Known Exercise Issues
- Creation of a data table using the Data Table Wizard, and accessing rule forms for decision tree and correspondence rules are not supported when using the Chrome browser. Use of the Internet Explorer (IE) is recommended with these features.
- The period “.” is a reserved character in Pega applications, used to indicate a property reference. When typing a sentence in a field – such as an audit note or instruction on the Assignment properties panel – that contains a period, the sentence must be enclosed in quotes, or the system will return an error.
- Testing a decision table using Action > Run is not supported with the IE 9 browser. Use of the Chrome browser is recommended with this feature.
- For a flow that begins with a decision shape that doesn't resolve to a decision rule (so that you need to select the outcome) if you test in draft mode, case processing will stall. This can be resolved by creating a decision rule with the desired outcomes.
- If you are asked to permit geolocation tracking from the Chrome browser, do not click "X" to close the prompt, as doing so may render the session unresponsive. For more information, click here (PDN article 114066).
