Interrrogation on Web Application -Issue
Hi,
I am interrogating web application and I am not able to select the hyperlink field and some images for comparison. Can you please help ?
When ever I take the target towards that field, it does not even highlight. I try to do using List control and there as well it does not show up.
Can you please help ?

Are you certain that the control is a hyperlink? Have you validated that it is using the "A" tag in the HTML? That might explain why you cannot see it if it doesn't exist as a hyperlink. You might also try locating it from the Web Control tab.

Yes, control is hyperlink in UI, but when check view source, it does not have A tag. But definitely we can click on that hyperlink and navigate to different part of the application.
As it does not have a A tag in html, I am not able to interrogate using web control tab as well. Please let me know how we can interrogate these kind of controls.

I cannot tell what type of control "it" is without access to the application. If there is no A tag, then it is not a hyperlink. Using the select element you can see all the controls in that hierarchy. You may have to examine the HTML to determine what is the control that is handling the click. The control is likely a button or image if it is not a hyperlink. Can you please post some screenshots of the page with the control highlighted? The source and a screenshot of "Select Element" will also help.

Hi I am trying the Interrogating a web application. I am not able to highlight the login frame as shown in the exercise which is causing no trace to element interrogated. While going to Object Explorer objects and selecting Highlight from context window navigate to the web page but doesn't highlight the object.
