How to know the last run date time value of an agent through its activity?
Hello,
Can some body help me in finding the last run date time of an agent in its activity? In which property and page does this value exists and how can i get it if i want that value in my agent activity?
And also i have a multi node environment and i would like to read the log file from each jvm. For that i have written an agent.
So what is the best way of configuring the agent - enable it in each node or only one node is enough?
Please suggest.

I think pzLastRunStart and pzLastRunFinish properties contains the time when agent last run started and gets finished.
If you want to print these values in logs, you could try adding Log-Message method in agent activity .

You need to create agent and run it on all the nodes to read log files of node. In activity you need to put logic to grab log file of each node.
You can create DSS containing the log file location for each node. May be node ID as setting name and location as value.
Then in agent activity just determine the Node ID and read corresponding DSS and its value to read the file content. Not tried this approach so might need some correction as well but this could help you to achieve your goal.
