How to customize the messages appearing in the Description column of the history section in the audit tab
Hello all,
I am trying to setup the Audit Sub tab in pyCaseContent in order to get the logs on changes made on the work object. I am using the pyCaseAudit for the same which uses pyCaseHistory. My question is regarding the History (pyCaseHisrtory and pyCaseHistoryContent) grid. So whenever a change is made to an object the description of this change appears in the Description column of this grid referenced using the pyMessageKey property. Can someone please tell me how to setup/modify these messages appearing under the Description column of the History grid? Thanks!

override the rule in app ruleset
create a wrapper activity for pzFetchSubcaseAttachments and call it in STEP 1 of wrapper activity
on load of pxResults either append (with required properties) or update the description.
otherwise, we need to create Link-Attachment objects for each & every audit note which would over load the table.

So if i understand the question correctly, Pranay - you are wondering how to add the "description" so that it shows up in the Audit history ?
There are several ways/places to do that. Open any flow and view the connector properties between assignment shapes (for example). You can add the "audit notes" and it should show up in the audit description.

Hello again, thank you for your reply. sahup1 can you please elaborate a bit more on your solution? So what i specifically need to do is: add custom columns to the audit subtab and also display specific msgs in the "Description" field based on change of certain properties in the system. How do i do that?

For example: when ever an event is created, Pega by OOTB it is displaying like EVENT CREATED in description column. but i need customize like Event (Event Number) has been created by (Operator id) towards (case id) on (Date).
So please elaborate this step by step to achieve my requirement.

I believe PEGA user History-Add method to write the history in audit tab. If we see the java code of History-Add method it uses pega_procom_pegaprocomutilities.AddHistory function to prepare the description.
You can explore the above mentioned function to fulfill your requirement
