Hover event working differently in Pega 8.7

we have configured hover event for refreshing section to few text input fields in section.  In User UI whenever we enter input in those fields cursor is moving backwards due to that hover event refresh in pega 8.7.2. Same Section in Pega 8.4.2 , hover is happening when we move out of the field and again hover that. Is hover function got changed in Pega later versions? is there anyway we can make that cursor remain still after section refresh?
