BIX or Reporting feature and why BIX? _ Beginner
Hi , I have seen some of the reporting functionalities provided by PEGA within PRPC. We had situations where we need to pull data from the master data to Pega data just to show it on the PRPC reports. I believe the only purpose of having BIX is we can replicate data into the SQL tables and since BIX can pull from Master database , this will reduce the data being pulled into the PEGA layer.
What other benefit do u see BIX can provide ? If my understanding is right ,
1. Is BIX gonna help me reduce the data replication in Pega?
2. Is BIX gonna help me delegate the scheduled report generation away from actual PRPC instance so the prpc server is away from report generation??
3. Why BIX vs PRPC reporting ?

about 1. yes, as BIX helps you to extract data from PRPC and can consolidate different sources
