Are Database Table rules regarded as a non rule resolved rule when creating a product?
When creating a product leaving the "exclude non rule resolved rules" box unticked, I expected some database table (DATA-ADMIN-DB-TABLE) instances to be included in the product zip file but they were not included.
Are DATA-ADMIN-DB-TABLE rules not regarded as non rule resolved rules? (I thought they were as they are associated with a ruleset but not with a ruleset version).

This is a data instance not a rule instance. That's the reason it is not coming in your product, need to mention it specifically to include it in Product.

You should associate those instances with a ruleset and that ruleset should be in your product rule with "Exclude non-versioned rules" box should be unchecked. Or the application you included in the product rule should contain that ruleset with "Include associated data" checked.

Hi Sri Teja,
My answer was specific to why Colin wasn't able to see DB table instance. It was never stated that it's a best practice. My comment merely states how those check boxes work.
It's not recommended every time. But it's Lead's or SSA's choice to move all instances every time or not.
