Search and Select Pattern - Constellation UI
Hi All,
I am implementing Search and Select pattern in Constellation UI (8.8.3). As per the below link, I have created a field with Data reference and kept it as a single record in case level. In case view, I have added the field. When I configure the view inside the field, I am not able to see the Search Data page (Which is shown in screenshot). Can anyone let me know if there are any additional configuration required for Search.

Hi @KrishnakumarS8523, just a basic check, have you marked you Dpage as an API and checked the option "Allow query using a JSON object"?

@Krishnakumar Sivaradjy okay, then change the availability to Available, API & enable querying by checking the “Allow query using a JSON object” in the Definition Tab of the Dpage. Then your Dpage should be visible and ready to use

@SaurabhG7134 Yes, List Dpage has already enabled and it is visible in my view. My scenario is to use Search Dpage.
As per the video, they have added the Data reference field in one of the assignment using configure view. In the data reference field view, Data Page field shows two data pages, one is list which was created during Data type creation and another one which starts with Search and it has data type name (Eg. Search Product - as given in the video). I could see only List Dpage listed in the dropdown in my view. My question is how to bring the Search Dpage since it has the Enable Search option which is not available in List Dpage ? Are there any code changes required for it as it was mentioned in the video?

@Krishnakumar Sivaradjy I checked the video, and I couldn't find how the Dpages were created in Dev Studio. But even for a page type datapage if the Dpage is set to API it should have been visible in App Studio.

@SaurabhG7134Yes Search Dpage is supposted to be a list since I created the field as Data reference by selecting List records. Due to which, Page type DP is not shown in the dropdown selection.

I had similar issues in the Pega 8.8 version. However, this issue seems to be fixed/enhanced in the Infinity 23 version and worked fine. Check on later versions, and let me know if you're running into the same issue.
