Pega Mobile and SSO
I am working on building a POC of a Mobile Application using Pega Mobile Client approach in Pega 7.1.9
My question is: Did anyone successfully implemented a Pega mobile app to use SSO for authentication using oAuth 2.0(by writing some custom native code)? or is there an alternative that pega mobile team recommend before they support this OOTB?(As per GCS, Pega Mobile with SSO is not available OOTB). Also, at this time, we don't need the offline support for the POC that i am building.
Any input is appreciated

Thanks for your reply, Stephanie. Can you please provide more info on "you must use the pega login screen for the mobile application"? Our enterprise hosts the SSO login page where the user get's into enter their username, password and after successful SSO authentication get's re-directed to pega application.
Is there a document that can be shared on the approach/steps that the customer took to get this working?

Bumping this thread, as this is coming up at a couple of clients. Stephanie - when you say "you must use the Pega login screen", I'm taking that to mean the instead of fronting the mobile app w/ an enterprise SSO login intercept page, Pega handles the credentials and on the back end verifies them against the SSO solution?
This also raises another interesting (to me at least) question -- How (if at all) do we handle offline?

That also enables offline to work - since we own the login page we can utilize their valid credentials locally to allow them to login when offline.
Yes this is supported in Pega Mobile Client. We had another customer use it for an offline application.
However, you must use the Pega login screen for the mobile application. That is the key for it to work as of this time.
