While parsing JSON to clipboard pega set inappropriate values for null received in the request

The response of connect rest receives null for a specific element. The raw data has "Null" but the value parsed on to clipboard shows as below. Any ideas?

Raw data is a quoted string that happens to be Null. I believe Pega has passed the point of handling an actual null value by the time it gets to examining the string content. In other words, its already on the clipboard as a value to be mapped and gets done as such.

Is that your use case - that you expect this property to actually be skipped or left empty?
