Custom pulse post
How to create a custom pulse post type. Is there a way to create a custom post type like PegaSocial-Post-Call.
When this post type is selected, along with the comments I want to capture in a dropdown whether the call was incoming and outgoing.,

Customization of the Pulse gadget is not recommended.
Alternatively I would suggest exploring the "Tags" capability integrated with the Pulse gadget. Adding a "#inbound" or "#outbound" for example as tags to the pulse message. You can proceed to track the pulse messages following using the tags.
Example:
1. adding a tag to a pulse message.
2. In this example I have 2 test messages with the inbound tag.
3. search for the tag or clicking the tag in the actual pulse message brings me to the Pulse page where I can proceed to see all cases and pulse messages with this tag.
